The podcast A New Knoxville is being hosted by Alex Lavidge, President of Knoxville Overground. Each episode showcases interviews with entrepreneurs and thought leaders in economic development who discuss their holistic approach toward supporting innovation, startups, and the creative class. The end result of this podcast series will result in a book, also titled A New Knoxville.
The book will be divided into three parts:
1. Stories from entrepreneurs regarding the pros and cons of doing business in the Knoxville area.
2. Case studies of successful programs across the country that support local entrepreneurship at all levels.
3. The history of Knoxville Overground and our proposal ideas for the future based on our findings and this research.
